Rapid Oral Abstract Presenters (Non-CME)

PRESENTER TASKS

Rapid Oral Abstract presenters will be responsible for

  1. Presenting their traditional poster at the poster session
  2. Presenting their e-poster on stage for 3 minutes at the designated stage date/time
  3. Submitting an electronic version of their poster as a one-page PDF by Monday, October 26, 2026, at 5:00pm ET.
  4. A link to submit your e-poster was sent on 9/15.


The Poster Sessions at the SNO Annual Meeting will be held as follows:

Location: Exhibit Hall D & E at The Pennsylvania Convention Center

Date/Time: Friday, November 13, 2026, 7:30-9:30pm

  • General Guidelines: Please ensure your poster is easy to read, using high-contrast text against your chosen background. Select a clear font and an appropriate size to ensure readability for all viewers.
  • Posters are hung according to the abstract code. Please have your code available.
  • Size of your Poster: No larger than 45 in x 45 in (115 cm x 115 cm). Please note you are sharing a board with another presenter. Posters larger than the maximum size may be removed from the meeting.
  • Adhering your Poster: Pushpins (supplied onsite). Please do not use Velcro to hang your poster.
  • Setup Time for Poster Presenters
  • Thursday, November 12 between 12:00-4:30pm or Friday, November 13 from 8:15am – 6:00pm.
  • Poster Removal
  • All posters must be removed by Saturday, November 14, by 6:15pm.
  • Posters not removed at required times, will be discarded.
  • Poster presenters should plan to be available for the entire poster session.
  • Poster packaging cannot be left on the floor.
  • Third-Party Assistance: If a third party is designing your poster, you are responsible for providing them with the poster specifications and any relevant printing guidelines or options.
  • You may include QR codes on your poster.
  • SNO staff are not available to hang or print your poster for you.

POSTER PRINTING

Presenters are responsible for printing their own posters. If you plan to print your poster in Philadelphia, please contact the printer in advance to confirm they can meet your needs. Note that some local printers may require orders to be placed prior to the meeting.

ELECTRONIC POSTER PREPARATION

The electronic poster will be available on the meeting website to be viewed by attendees at the meeting in November and will remain on the website for approximately one year after.

  • Please submit your electronic poster by Monday, October 26, 2026, at 5:00pm ET deadline. Posters submitted after the deadline may not be available for viewing at the start of the meeting.
  • You must submit an electronic version of your poster for on-screen display during your 3-minute rapid oral presentation.
  • File Format: We will only accept the poster as a PDF file with 1 page.
  • Maximum File Size: 10 MB.
  • File Naming: Please use this file naming convention: Last Name_Abstract Code (i.e., Smith_CTNI-80)

The Rapid Oral Sessions at the SNO Annual Meeting will be held as follows:

RAPID ORAL PREPARATION

You are responsible for delivering a 3-minute rapid oral presentation during your assigned rapid oral session. Your electronic e-poster will serve as your presentation. Slides will not be accepted.


RAPID ORAL ONSITE TECHNOLOGY DETAILS

It is imperative presenters stay within their allotted presentation time to give equal representation to other presenting colleagues.

  • There will be a dedicated technician(s) in your room for your entire session.
  • ePosters will all be on one slide deck in order by presentation time.
  • A monitor will be on the podium for presenters to use with their fingers to zoom in and out of their poster and to see what they are presenting to the audience.
  • A wired microphone will be located at the podium for presenters to use.
  • A timer will be provided for the presenter and set by the technician in the room.
  • Your room is equipped with (1) monitor and (2) speakers.
