TARGET AUDIENCE

Neuro-oncologists (both neurology and medical oncology-trained), Medical Oncologists, Neurosurgeons, Neuro-radiologists, Neuropathologists, Neuropsychologists, Radiation Oncologists, Basic and Translational Scientists, Basic and Clinical Science Trainees, Allied Health Professionals, Palliative Care Professionals, Industry Professionals, Regulatory and Government Officials, Patient Advocates, and Nursing Professionals.

STATEMENT OF NEED/PROGRAM OVERVIEW

As an adjunct to the 2026 SNO Annual Meeting, the Education Day on November 12, features specialized content focusing on the scientific advances and highlighting the applications of those advances in the clinical setting. This year’s Education Day theme: Bringing Science to Clinical Forefront in Brain Tumor Treatment will feature a dynamic line up of faculty showcasing the latest advances in the treatment of patients with brain tumors.

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

After participating in this CME activity, participants should be able to:

• Apply recent advances in molecular diagnostics of brain tumors and therapeutic strategies into contemporary clinical practice.
• Evaluate emerging diagnostic modalities and validated biomarkers to refine brain tumor characterization and guide evidence-based management decisions.
• Assess the translational pathway from scientific discovery to preclinical validation, regulatory approval, and equitable clinical implementation of targeted cand cell-based therapies in adult and pediatric populations.
• Evaluate and compare novel drug and biologic delivery platforms to optimize therapeutic penetration, safety, and efficacy in brain tumor treatment.

_{Instructions to Receive Credit, Claim Certificate of Participation}

In order to receive credit or claim your certificate of participation for this activity, the participant must attend the meeting in-person and complete the program evaluation. A CME/CE evaluation link will be emailed to each participant within the coming weeks after the conference conclusion from the Society for Neuro-Oncology with the subject line "Claim CME, or Certificate of Participation for the 2026 SNO Education Day." Physicians should only claim CME credit commensurate with the time they spent in the activity.

_{Refund/Cancellation Policy}

The deadline for cancellations with refund is Friday, October 30, 2026. Cancellations must be received in writing, and a $50 cancellation fee will be assessed. Cancellations received after the deadline date cannot be refunded, but the meeting registration can be transferred to another person with written authorization.

Please note that your SNO membership must be current if you have chosen to register as a SNO member. SNO reserves the right to confirm that you have registered in the correct category.
